About Supreme Court of the US Police
Established in 1935, the Supreme Court of the United States Police Department (SCUSPD) is tasked with ensuring the safety and security of the Supreme Court building, its justices, employees, and visitors. The department enforces federal and District of Columbia laws, provides dignitary protection for the justices, and maintains order within the Court's premises. As of 2024, the SCUSPD has an authorized force of 189 officers.
